Charles Jack Malki

In all honesty he was the best attorney we ever dealt with. We had tried doing a loan modification on our own and after no success I remembered that I had met this attorney ( Charles Malki) at a Training seminar where he was the speaker. When I listened to him speak about Real Estate issues that buye...rs and sellers were going through and how he had helped them I knew he would be the guy we would trust with our situation. We decided to shortsale our property and I knew he would be the one to do it. We also hired him to represent us in the foreclosure proceedings that the court had started against us. He is very knowledgeable, professional and he is always there to answers questions, any time we called even on holidays and weekends. His staff is also on the same league, friendly, knowledgeable and always there to listen when we had concerns or questions. We recommended Charles to all our friends and family and we will be using him again when we are ready to buy our new home. Our closing last week was simple and stress free. This lawyer promised help with a loan modification on our home. His admin staff try to be helpful, but are not very knowledgeable at all. I spent very little time talking to an actual lawyer at the Malki Law Firm. I realized I was just paying for clerks to complete modification forms that I could hav...e done myself at home. I ended up doing my own research, and suggesting direction in terms of programs/legal settlements/help etc. Unfortunately this firm just jumped on the "loan modification/ homeowner in distress" bandwagon simply to make money. They have little knowledge or experience in this field, and have set up a "mill" to perform these tasks. If your case is not cookie cutter, they will not know what to do. I don't know if they are more experienced in regular buy/sell real estate law, but they have no clue about defending your home if you are in distress. Not recommended.

I've been searching for so many attorneys all over South Florida and finally found Mr. Malki ! I called the office right away and I told the firm that I needed to come and meet up with Mr. Malki right away with such a short notice and they rescheduled his entire day so I would be able to come in and ...meet with him. He is very professional and has lots of experience with Real Estate. They successfully finished my short-sale in less than 8 weeks. I referred him to many friends and family - with everyone being happy with him and his firm. I really recommend him to everyone!!

I would not recommend this lawyer, in our initial meetings he portrayed himself and his firm very well, in practice they were completely unresponsive, over the course of a year they only returned my call on two occasions regardless of how many times I left a message. When I did manage to speak with ...one of the ever revolving members of his staff I got completely conflicting answers, sometimes my case was about to be resolved and was turning out very well, others it was going to be a complete loss. When it was finally resolved (with a forclosure) noone contacted me, I found out through my building, after trying all day to speak with anyone at the firm he finally had the receptionist tell me that we had lost and there was nothing more they would be able to do. I list that I worked with three to five because the lawyers assigned to my case by him kept either leaving or being fired.
