Anne Dufour Zuckerman

The Law Offices of Anne Dufour Zuckerman, P.A. was founded in 2012 by Anne Dufour Zuckerman, a practicing attorney since 1986. The firm concentrates on the practice of business law. Anne has experience in an extensive range of substantive areas of business law, having also worked as General Counsel for a large, privately held company in the insurance-related industry; Associate General Counsel, Business Law for a large, publicly traded company in the retail industry; a partner and associate in private legal practice as a commercial litigator representing both plaintiffs and defendants; an attorney for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Enforcement, Washington D.C; and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Connecticut.

As a result of her broad-based legal experience and representation of a wide variety of businesses, including nonprofits, Anne understands the pressures on businesses to do more work with fewer resources, to develop and adhere to budgets, operating and strategic plans and generally to hold down overall legal costs, while functioning in a more demanding and litigious environment. Anne works closely with every client to provide them with responsive, solution oriented legal services while always maintaining the highest level of ethics and professionalism.

Anne’s areas of practice inlude:

• Serving as Outside General Counsel
• Commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation, including, but not limited to, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, asset purchase agreements, employment and non-competition agreements
• Structuring, formation and dissolution of business entities (corporations, LLCs)
• Corporate governance including drafting By-Laws, advising Corporate Boards and Committees, drafting minutes, employee handbooks, records retention policies and codes of ethics 
• Counseling corporations, officers and/or directors with respect to their fiduciary and other legal obligations
•  E-commerce related legal matters including website privacy policies and terms of use
•  Advertising and marketing laws
•  Regulatory compliance

 Anne is active in her community serving as a volunteer and also legal counsel for the Office Depot Foundation. She serves on the Board of Directors for NAWBO Palm Beach County. Anne is also a mentor with Women of Tomorrow providing mentoring services for local high school students. 

Anne resides in Boca Raton with her husband, P. Benjamin (Ben) Zuckerman, a partner with the law firm of Berger Singerman in Boca Raton, and their 3 children: Noah, who attends the University of Central Florida (class of 2018) and twins, Eli and Nathan, who attend Stevens Institute of Technology (class of 2021).
