I have been a real estate broker for over 20 years and a CPA for over 14 so I have had my fair share of dealings with lawyers. I should say "fair" is not the best descriptive word in most cases. Andrea however is up to date, full of energy, reasonable in her billings. Andrea can be articulate and boo...k smart as well as down to earth and relate to the common man as well as impress her co-workers and judges. She helped me through a difficult time in my life and I was always grateful to the force that brought me to her. She is a dedicated Mom and has a passion for what she does and is really a caring human being. I could not have a higher opinion of her. What really impressed me was her quick thinking and elegant on the spot reference of law while in the courtroom. Andrea is a winner pure and simple.

Throughout my divorce, Ms Andrea Reid has been an integral part of reuniting me with my child and defending what is right and just! Five Stars without hesitation!!! I was fortunate/blessed to find Ms Reid when I was blinded by the service of divorce papers from my spouse... Yes, truly sucker punc...hed! (That's a story in and of itself) In any case, my search for a family law attorney in Palm Beach County quickly educated me on the meaning of "retainer fee" as each of my phone calls seem to fall on "deaf ears" when I attempted to explain the emotional devastation I was in and was often cut off time after time to be informed of the retainer fee the attorney would need before further discussion could take place. However, when I happened upon Ms Reid, she listened to my situation with patience and compassion as she & I discussed the turmoil and heartache my new found situation understandably bestows upon a spouse heading into the divorce process. She didn't even try to "sell me" on her services but simply offered me a much needed dose of reality and an initial game plan with or without an attorney. Six months later, Ms Reid has proven to go above and beyond representing me throughout something that has been more than anything I'd ever experienced or expected as a blind sided defendant fully engulfed by the divorce process and family law system. As each new hurdle presented itself, I'd begin to feel deeper levels of emotions while Ms Reid presented a confident and "can do" approach. I often even referred to her as "my coach" because she "kept me in the game" during times I felt I simply couldn't take anymore... At this point, Ms Reid won an emotionally fueled and insanely offensive court battle in order for me to receive a full 50/50 unrestricted time sharing schedule with my child, which has been HUGE since my spouse attempted to keep my child away from me while attempting to offer a few hours of supervised visits per week.... I could easily ramble on about her professional integrity, overt profound knowledge of "the family law system", positive spirit, caring attitude, and the obvious hours she put into representing me, but I'll end my review by offering her thanks for being painfully honest with me about what to expect, how we'll deal with it, and worse case scenarios at times when I just didn't want to hear anything less than "it'll be ok"...

I hired Andrea Read to enforce child support in lieu of custody. She said the case was very straightforward but she didn’t understand the custodial orders and contract I was trying to enforce. A matter which should have cost me $600 cost me $13000 and a year later I had still received no child sup...port and was divorced. I do not recommend this lawyer, who did not listen to my advice on handling my ex-husband and who persuaded me to take actions which resulted in a very poor financial outcome for myself and our child. She understood the law, but she was no match for my ex-husband who defeated her with no legal representation.
