No do not do this. You are going to pay the bank a large sum of money and hen file bankruptcy saying you can't pay your other debts? VERY bad...
Can a person request an extended foreclosure auction sale date, have it granted, and then also file for an appeal of the trial?

No. You cannot consent to judgement meaning you present no argument and then appeal the judgement since there was no opposition or anything filed...

The judge typically doesnt grant this, you or your lawyer better yet calls the bank lawyers a few days before and come to some written agreement...

If pure in a current lease then see a lawyer. If you have no lease then the notice is more than the law affords of 15 days and financial hardship...
