Living out of state and needing an eviction specialist to re-obtain possession of our rented condo, our initial attorney deferred to Robin for her expertise in this area. As in most states, tenants rights are fiercely protected (not those of owners and landlords) and Robin helped us navigate through... the complex route of notices and court procedures to re-obtain possession of our property. She displayed professionalism at all times, explaining the many steps of this process and responding to phone calls and emails when we had questions, She was even wary of our budget, notifying us of major milestones as the case progressed and not for all the minutia that occurred in-between. Towards the end when the Writ of Possession was imminent, we deferred to her experience as to whether or not to prolong the legal procedure for damages. We were pleased that this procedure took only two months. We were pleased that the tenant was evicted and full possession of the property returned to us. And we accepted the fact that the tenant apparently had no funds to speak of and we would not have gained anything by paying legal fees to seek damages. We were disappointed in the financial (damage) result, but this is a reality all landlords must face, must deal with, and is not the fault of our attorney's efforts.
