Jeffrey Waintroob Roberts

I focus on advising, organizing, and litigating for businesses and for individuals in commercial and business-related agreements and disputes.  My goal is to keep my clients out of court in the first place by making sure their practices, procedures, and contracts are executed correctly.  I review contracts to ensure they reflect my client's interests and do not invite avoidable litigation.  In disputes, whether mediating or in court, I am an agressive advocate for my clients and do whatever I can within the law to go for the win.  

Before going to law school, I co-founded and ran a successful internet clothing store.  My company manufactured in China and India, distributed worldwide via a distribution center in the midwest.  During this period, I received orthodox rabbinic ordination (smicha) from Midrash Sephardi, a rabbinic seminary in Jerusalem's Old City known training congregational rabbis to serve diaspora communities.  After graduating law school in 2009, I worked part-time with several major South Florida Law Firms, primarily on litigation matters.  Since joining the Florida Bar, my practice has included a significant amount of litigation before Jewish religious courts, which is governed by state or federal arbitration laws and enters a final judgement with state courts for enforcement.  

     My practice focuses on trademark & copyright (including internet and software licensing agreements), contract review, commercial litigation, and wills, trusts & estates.  I work hard to provide comprehensive, personalized counseling and guidance to individuals, families, and business owners alike.
