The PO does not have to agree, but you may petition the court and circumvent the PO. Hire an attorney in your area to handle.

The volume of people processed at these jails, especially in Miami is so great that it is not uncommon for it to take 24 hours or more to process...

You really need a lawyer. Even though itis your first offense, there are many pitfalls you could get trapped into if you don't have a lawyer.

You can fight extradition, but will most likely eventually lose. Best bet is to hire a NE lawyer to handle the issue back in the originating court...
