The 5th amendment only applies if you are going to incriminate yourself in your testimony.
You may not need an attorney to attend with you but...
We paid our chapter 13 but trustee dismissed the case for not receiving taxes. What can we do now. What are the consequences.

Usually you can file a motion to reinstate the case and provide the tax returns. The case will not be reinstated without the tax returns.

You may be able to if the payment is similar. Financing may be difficult. You will also need to get the trustee’s approval.
