Alexandra K. Sarfin

Alexandra Sarfin is a partner in the firm’s plaintiffs division and focuses her practice on personal injury and medical malpractice. She received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida in 2015, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2018. She was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year and is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts.

Prior to joining Cohen & Blostein, P.A., Alexandra was an Assistant Public Defender with the Public Defender’s Office, 17th Judicial Circuit. She routinely managed caseloads of over 300 cases, argued motions, and represented clients at trial. Before becoming a public defender, Alexandra conducted legal research and provided litigation support for law firms in various practice areas including bankruptcy, employment and corporate law, commercial real estate, and corporate governance.

Alexandra has been appointed to the Florida Bar Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee (Term: 2024). She is also a member of the Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee for the 17th Judicial Circuit, the Young Lawyers division of the Florida Bar, and Class VII of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy. She is also active in the Stephen R. Booher Inn of Courts, and a Big Sister in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County.
