The initial offer from the district attorney was 32 mont ... hs in state prison (i.e., 16 months X 2 because of prior strike). My client was a senior citizen with medical issues and extremely poor memory due to age. I was able to obtain for my client a medical disposition of 3 years under supervised probation, no prison time, and the DA agreed to strike the prior strike.
