Russell T. Beyer

Russell Beyer is an outstanding lawyer. He is extremely professional, detail oriented, and very knowledgeable within his craft. Mr. Beyer was able to work with my wife and I in the dismissal of two traffic tickets for our step son. He also was able to work with the prosecutor in the effort to ultimat...ely dismiss a traffic ticket that was given in error to our step daughter. He worked with us to properly prepare a quick claim deed for my wife and I. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality attorney.

I hired this lawyer through Hyatt Legal Services and I regret it. When I talked to him briefly on the phone he said he would review a real estate contract. I was told that he would review the contract but he would first need a retainer of $795 (3 hours) and any unused funds would be returned. Because... I was travelling my girlfriend dropped off the check, which he referred to as the "most important part" in the beach wear that he was wearing. Very unprofessional; I wish I had seen that, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere. Anyhow, I talked to him 3 days later and he gave me generalities for answers. The fact that his vague answers made me suspicious that he hadn't read an important 2 page document. He said no, he never recieved that document and that it would cost me a lot more if he had to read it. I know exactly what was dropped off. Disgusted I decided to go ask another lawyer from whom I had a much better experience. A few days later I contacted Russel about the final bill and he said as a courtesy to me he hadn't prepared one and that all 3 hours had been used up. He claimed the actual bill was 4.5 hours and I never even got to meet with him as he was on vacation. Russ was absolutely unprofesional and he clearly took advantage of me and the situation.
