Carlos Jose Reyes Jr.

Carlos J. Reyes is a Shareholder at Gray Robinson, P.A.  He has been a member of the Florida Bar since tices state-wide. Carlos has been rated “AV Preeminent” for many years.  (This is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards by Martindale-Hubbell – a well-recognized legal resource.)  

Carlos is based in the Orlando office of Gray Robinson, but serves clients out of both the Orlando and Fort Lauderdale offices, and in today's remote environment, throughout the firm's 14 statewide offices, its' Washington, D.C. office, and beyond.  His practice "footprint" routinely has him appearing in courtroom and conference room settings throughout South & Central Florida.

As to practice details, in the last 10 years, Mr. Reyes has closed over $100M in commercial real estate transactions, representing buyers and sellers in contract negotiations, due diligence, title review, and policy issuance involving all types of commercial properties (including REO closings).  

As to litigation, he has assisted asset and loan portfolio managers, private lenders,and investors grappling with non-performing commercial real estate across the State of Florida.  The focus is on bringing legal actions in the form of commercial mortgage foreclosures, evictions, and breach of contract actions while also handling related loan workout negotiations and settlements.  Mr. Reyes has also prosecuted and defended against claims involving real property partition actions, trade secret violations, and breach of non-compete agreements.
