About Susette
Biography
Susette Luis is a partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale West Office. Her primary areas of practice include: general civil litigation, personal injury protection (PIP), automobile negligence, insurance fraud, fraud litigation and carrier representation.
Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Luis has tried numerous automobile negligence cases to verdict, with successful results, including fraudulent insurance claims. She also led one of the largest provider related insurance fraud investigations for a well-known insurance company. Ms. Luis continues to work with the Special Investigate Unit (SIU) of well-known insurance companies on both individual cases and on a larger scale.
Ms. Luis received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center.
Ms. Luis, was recognized by her peers as a Florida Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
