I original applied for SSI in 2007 and was refused benefits. However, I reapplied in Oct. 2013.

You are unlikely to get back benefits due to the length of time between applications. SSI is paid from the application date.

Judge will make a decision if Judge believes case is ready for decision. Your attorney can tell you if something else is pending.

If you are on SSDI, not SSI, it will not make a difference.

You can not have both yours and his, SSA will give you the highest amount. AS the custodial parent, the money for the child should go to you.
