they still get the 1099 whether they file a tax return or not.
I would like to terminate my SSI benefits. After a year of receiving benefits, would I have to repay all benefits back?

You would not have to repay benefits because you quit getting them.

You need to have an attorney help you through this. The hearing is your best chance to win the case, don't throw it away.

if you are a co-owner of the account it could affect your eligibility.
I went to my hearing and the vocational expert said there are no jobs that I can do, but the judge still denied my case.

Yes, a Judge can make a decision on the record. But the case has to be very strong and not all judge's will consider doing it.
