On behalf of our client we sought certiorari review of an order of the Judge of Compensation Claims (JCC) granting the Employer/Carrier's (E/C's) motion to compel his attendance at an independent medic ... al examination (IME). The appellate court held that order departs from the essential requirements of law and Claimant would suffer harm not remediable on appeal should the exam go forward. The court granted the petition and quashed the March 8, 2012.
