Anthony Stephan Murphy

I had the great fortune of finding Mr. Anthony Murphy, Esq., to manage my defense with respect to a small claims court case I had with a neighbor who was angered because of the trimming of his trees that came over onto my property posing a safety threat. Mr. Murphy put things into perspective for... me from the very first meeting I had with him and he immediately put into place a strategy and motion for dismissal based upon the lack of “damage” definition with respect to “property destruction” the plaintiff stated in his lawsuit filing. Inexplicably, the motion was not ruled on by the judge, who preferred to wait until the scheduled trial date for making her decision. Mr. Murphy was dedicated to winning the case for me, and attended several hearings called by the judge, as well as a rescheduling of the trial a total of 3 times dragging out the original trial date 6 months. During this time, Mr. Murphy put together a motion for “Summary for Disposition” outlining the defense with evidence and facts in order that the case be dismissed without going to trial. He urged the judge twice to make a judgement on the disposition and she finally relented, and ruled to dismiss the case. It was Mr. Murphy’s excellent guidance through this rather frustrating time of having to deal with an unruly Plaintiff, and questionable judgement from a judge not to consider pre-trial motions for dismissal, which eventually won out in the end. I cannot thank Mr. Murphy enough nor recommend him enough to others needing a legal professional to help them in an array of the different legal services he provides. In fact, I was impressed with Mr. Murphy’s legal professionalism due to Mr. Murphy’s well written legal documents, responsiveness, and determination.
