⭐️ 1 Star I hired Tami A. Phillips during a very difficult guardianship and QIT matter involving my mother. I was referred to her by another attorney I trusted. My primary concern became the amount of time billed for communications, explanations, and other work. I was billed 50.20 hours totalin...g $17,570 in attorney fees, in addition to other court and attorney/committee-related costs. I had extensive questions throughout the representation and often felt that straightforward matters became lengthy discussions. I also sometimes felt talked over or dismissed when trying to communicate my concerns. I was told by text on two occasions to find other counsel. The matter has now progressed to court proceedings concerning attorney fees and withdrawal from the representation. My advice to anyone hiring an attorney is to get everything in writing and make sure you understand exactly what your retainer covers, what is billed hourly, how communications are charged, and what additional costs may arise. Based on my experience, I would not choose this attorney again.
