Rostova Westerman Law Group is a boutique immigration law practice offering personalized service and top-quality legal work.   Our law firm was established by Sasha Westerman-Keuning, a Board Certified Immigration Attorney who has practiced immigration law exclusively for 8 years.  She graduated with honors from Boston College and the University of Miami School of Law.  Prior to establishing her immigration law firm, she worked as the Senior Immigration Associate at several of Miami’s top immigration law firms.  She also assisted in establishing the Immigration Law Department at a major corporate law firm in Miami.  Mrs. Westerman-Keuning applies these years of experience at leading immigration law firms to her law practice, providing innovative legal solutions to even the most complex immigration cases.  She has been featured as an expert on CNN en Espanol and quoted in the Miami Herald as an Immigration Law Specialist.  

 Sasha Westerman-Keuning handles a wide variety of immigration matters from consultation to completion, including family-based and employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visas, asylum cases, removal proceedings, detention and bonds, criminal and fraud waivers, appeals, federal court litigation, and naturalizations among other immigration services.  She specializes in LGBT immigration law and has been a powerful advocate for LGBT, immigrant and women’s rights for more than a decade. She offers knowledgeable, professional and personal service.  She has obtained hundreds of green cards on behalf of many individuals in same-sex marriages as well as K-1 fiance visas for foreign nationals in same-sex relationships.  She is proud to be a pioneer in the field of LGBT immigration law, having represented the first same-sex couples who obtained approvals of their K-1 fiance visas at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota, Colombia and Amman, Jordan and working with nearly 200 same-sex couples in obtaining immigration benefits since the repeal of DOMA in June 2013.  

 In 2014, Mrs. Westerman-Keuning received an award from the American Immigration Lawyers Association for her work on a team of lawyers who exemplified "commitment and passion in achieving justice for vulnerable and voiceless immigrants."   In 2015, Mrs. Westerman-Keuning was named one of the National Advocates, Top 40 Under 40 in the field of immigration law, a designation reserved for the most prominent and leading attorneys in his or her field.  The National Advocates only grants this prestigious membership to attorneys who have a strong reputation and achievements in their field.
