Biography
Gary Englander is a Partner at Englander Peebles, Accident & Injury Lawyers. He is an experienced trial attorney. He focuses his practice on representing individuals who have been seriously injured due to the fault of others. Prior to founding Englander Peebles, Accident & Injury Lawyers, Gary tried several jury trials and obtained significant experience litigating personal injury cases. He litigated cases involving serious personal injuries, fraud, malpractice, civil theft, breaches of contract, and labor & employment matters at both the state and federal level. Gary was a member of the litigation team tasked with representing defrauded investors in the largest Ponzi scheme orchestrated in Florida’s history.
Gary has served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Broward County State Attorney’s Office. There, he gained invaluable courtroom experience having tried jury and bench trials. He also had the privilege of serving as a law clerk with the United States Department of Justice in the U.S. Attorneys’ Office. In that capacity, he assisted in the preparation of trials and hearings as well as conducted research on complex and sensitive legal issues.
Gary also served as a law clerk in the Multistate Litigation Division of the Florida Attorney General’s Office. While there, he obtained experience with respect to issues related to data and consumer privacy and authored a policy guide for handling data breaches. Gary was recognized for his assistance in obtaining millions of dollars in recoveries for the State of Florida.
