Sandra Krumbein is a partner in Shutts & Bowen's Fort Lauderdale Office, where she is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in real estate acquisition and development, operation, acquisition and disposition of distressed condominium and fee simple assets, condominium and homeowner association development and operation and serves as counsel to condominium and homeowner associations statewide. Representing developers, lenders, bulk purchasers and sellers statewide, she counsels clients in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions and development.
Ms. Krumbein is experienced in defending developer clients against claims involving the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act and the Florida Condominium Act. She teams with her developer clients in all aspects of purchase and sales contract compliance and enforcement issues.
Ms. Krumbein also serves as regulatory counsel in compliance matters under numerous federal, state and local statutes and ordinances, including Fannie Mae, FHA and VA condominium project underwriting guidelines, the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act and the Florida Condominium and Homeowners Association Act.
A Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated attorney, Ms. Krumbein has lectured on multiple occasions for the University of Miami Institute on Condominium and Cluster Developments and for The Florida Bar on various condominium development issues. She is a member of The Florida Bar and Broward County Bar Association. She has also served as a mentor for law students of Nova Southeastern University through the Broad Fellowship Program.
