Richard Malcolm Stoll

I concentrate my practice in two primary areas of the law: estate planning and complex commercial litigation.  I have practiced in both of these areas since opening my own practice in New York City in 1994.  

I began my career as a felony prosecutor with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, followed by several years in my own practice, during which I was a frequent guest commentator on Court TV. I have extensive trial and litigation experience through which I have developed skills that I also bring to the Estate Planning arena.  Although none of the Estate Plans I have developed for my clients have ever resulted in litigation, I have litigated many Probate matters and I am sensitive to family dynamics and the pitfalls of poor planning.  I listen carefully to my clients and strive to meet each of their goals, whether it is creating a lasting legacy for their families, or pursuing their disputes in a judicious and timely manner.
