Mohammad Ahmed Faruqui became a Board Certified Specialist in Aviation Law in 2017.
He was born in Shamsabad, India, and grew up with his brother and parents in New York City until he was 16 years old. His parents then settled in the Florida Panhandle in 1993 to establish a rural medical clinic. Mr. Faruqui went to college at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, thereafter worked as a newspaper reporter in Panama City, Florida, and then moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to attend law school at the Nova-Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. Mr. Faruqui is a licensed attorney admitted to practice in front of the Florida Supreme Court and all of Florida's lower courts, the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He has lived in the Fort Lauderdale area since 2002, and has two sons with his wife Faizah.
