Matthew M. Fischer

Matthew has over 18 years of experience practicing law. His experience has involved representing business entities, individuals, and government agencies at the state and federal levels. Matthew currently handles all aspects of civil litigation and appeals encompassing contract disputes, collections, professional licensing defense, and various aspects of health, maritime, consumer fraud, and real estate law. ​

Prior to forming his current law firm, Matthew was a former attorney with the U.S. Government, where he uniquely served in various roles in both civil and criminal divisions. He served as a Senior Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he advised administrative law judges and other HHS personnel on a variety of legal issues. Prior to joining HHS, he served as an Assistant General Counsel in the Federal Bureau of Investigation and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. In these roles, he worked on counterterrorism investigations, defended the FBI in civil litigation matters, and prosecuted narcotics distribution, weapons possession and various theft and fraud related offenses in the District of Columbia.

Matthew is a member of the Florida, Texas, and Broward County (Florida) Bar Associations. He is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
