My wife and I recently were divorced and have a child in common. My wife is also an attorney and undoubtedly hired Mrs. Padowitz due to her reputation in the family law community. I was pro se during our divorce and saw why she is highly regarded. In the beginning of my divorce, as is the case wi...th most divorces, it was very emotional and contentious. Regardless of how contentious things were, Mrs Padowitz was always professional and treated me with respect while simultaneously being a zealous advocate for her client. As the divorced progressed Mrs. Padowitz and I had multiple interactions both via email and on the phone/video. I can wholeheartedly say that Mrs. Padowitz is not a "fan the flames" attorney seeking to drag litigation out in order to put the squeeze on a client during this difficult time. She was very open to working with me, helped my wife and I find common ground, expeditiously returned my emails and was a gem throughout the process, all while remaining very much my wife's advocate. I know first hand that the attorney you chose during a family matter can be a massive influence on how the litigation process goes. I have seen, personally and professionally, family law attorneys that seem to be more interested in grandstanding and encouraging their client to be as litigious as possible for their own "best interest" This was not my experience with Kristin. Even though she was my wife's attorney at every turn I felt that she was professional, respectful, and prioritized a peaceful resolution over protracted litigation. If you are looking for an attorney that is not only knowledgeable and can pull out the sword, but also one that knows when it's time to keep the sword shaved and use words, look no further. In my opinion Mrs Padowitz walks a very delicate and fine line that many attorneys are unable to do. She is able to be firm and aggressive when needed, but only as needed, as to not increase the proverbial fuel on the fire. She's also easy to work with and is able to put resolution above her on financial gain. Being my wife's attorney you may be questioning why I am writing a review for Mrs Padowitz. It's simple, I appreciate both talent and empathy and she deserves a positive review, even if it comes from the other side of the fence.

I hired Kristen to handle a basic time sharing modification. In the middle of working on that everything went totally sideways. A simple modification turned into an emergency removal with CPIS getting involved due to the actions of my kids' mother. During this extraordinarily stressful time Kriste...n was kind, compassionate, and above all professional. She easily coordinated several witnesses, filed multiple emergency motions, all the while keeping me reassured and informed about the process. Kristen fought for what was in the best interest of my children and we got the result we were after. Even if everything hadn’t gone in our favor, I'd still hire her again.

I had a total loss theft claim on my 2017 landrover sport. State farm was giving me a very hard time with the claim. At one point I casually mentioned that I wanted to consult with my attorney when it was first initiated and they absolutely stone walled me and would not even speak to me any further.... After a few months of desperate attempts myself trying to get help from anyone at state farm I decided to hire Kristin to officially represent me in the claim. Well upon resolution not only did she get them to cover the claim, the amount they paid out was far more than expected and for that I am truly grateful. Fantastic attorney and you absolutely cannot go wrong using her services.
