Defendant, with a conviction record, was stopped for alleged traffic violation. A teletype came back saying that there was a warrant out for his arrest. While removing client from car, it was alleged ... that a Firearm was strapped to his side. Defendant arrested and charged. This was the third time defendant arrested for the F/A charge. Defendant wa looking at 40 years Prison sentence as a Habitual Offender with 3 years minimum mandatory. Extensive Discovery done in case with a Motion to Suppress filed, at the Motion to Suppress that state offered 5 years probation with the Motion withdrawn. Client accepted the 5 years probation H.O. with no jail time. B
