Ivan Tarasuk

Ivan Tarasuk is a Martindale-Hubbelll AV-rated attorney representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes. Ivan’s practice encompasses property and casualty insurance litigation. Still, he also has substantial experience in life and disability insurance claims, as well as allegations about the failure of an insurance company to defend and indemnify its insureds as to liability exposures.

Ivan was previously a partner at Florida’s most prominent defense firm, where he worked from 2007 to 2018. In that role, Ivan defended and represented insurance companies in thousands of property and casualty insurance coverage disputes. This past experience gives Ivan great insight into the workings of insurance companies and allows him to provide first-rate advice and counsel to his clients. Ivan then shifted his practice and now devotes it entirely to representing insureds in property damage and coverage disputes throughout the state. He greatly enjoys helping ordinary people navigate the insurance claims process and securing recovery for them on wrongfully denied or underpaid insurance claims.

Ivan received a B.A. in Business Administration from George Washington University. He completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University, graduated with honors, was a Merit Scholarship recipient, and served as an Articles Editor for Nova Law Review. He is happily married and is the father of three wonderful children.
