Biography
I am a Florida Bar Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer and former prosecutor who graduated in the top 5% of my class at the University of Miami School of Law. During my career at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, I tried hundreds of criminal cases involving crimes ranging from DUI to Capital Murder. I also served as a Supervising Prosecutor in the DUI Division and was responsible for training new DUI Prosecutors. I also have extensive experience in Federal Criminal Court. I have defended over 100 federal criminal cases. I have experience defending all types of criminal cases including drug trafficking, theft, fraud, insurance fraud, welfare fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, mortgage fraud, healthcare fraud, alien smuggling, sex trafficking, kidnapping, child abuse, sexual battery, conspiracy, armed robbery, armed burglary, immigration offenses, firearm offenses, visa fraud and 1st degree murder. I am licensed to practice in Florida State Court and in the United States District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. I am also licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and First Circuit as well as the United States Supreme Court.
