Daniel Harwin

As a distinguished graduate with honors from Rollins College in Central Florida, Harwin acquired his law degree from the University of Miami. He is an active member of the Florida Bar and is admitted into the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court.

Moreover, he boasts numerous accolades, including recognition in the Florida Super Lawyers list since 2009 and several inclusions in the Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers list, and Legal Elite. Daniel was awarded “CVN’s Top 10 Most Impressive Plaintiff Verdicts of 2023” for a $20.2 Million verdict in a malpractice trial over a patient’s death after receiving opioids. This same case made the Top 20 Verdicts in Florida for 2023. He is a member and the 2024 elected President of the Fort Lauderdale Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a highly revered organization of skilled trial lawyers and judges.

Mr. Harwin’s trial victories include securing a $24.5 million verdict in a medical malpractice wrongful death case in Broward County, a $20.2 million verdict in a medical malpractice wrongful death case in Palm Beach County and obtaining a $15.3 million medical malpractice binding arbitration award in the same year. Notably, his extensive $700+ million dollar verdict and settlements history speaks volumes to his exceptional legal prowess. He has also handled more voluntary binding medical malpractice cases than any other attorney in Florida.
