Ronald Lee Book

Ronald L Book earned his law degree (J.D.) at Tulane University and his Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Political Science at Florida International University. Prior to completing his degree at FIU, Book attended the University of Florida, where he ran track for the Florida Gators (1971-1973). Mr. Book is a registered lobbyist, a member of the FAPL (Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists), and a member of the Florida Bar.

Ron Book’s approach to local government representations has grown the firm’s influence and relationships well beyond the Florida state Capitol, including into city and county governments throughout all corners of the Sunshine State. This is one reason why Ronald L. Book, P.A., remains one of only several firms to offer top-tier legislative representation to clients in the halls of state government, as well as robust and substantial local government services.

Mr. Book’s initial experience in the state’s policymaking arena began in the 1970s, when he went to work for the Florida State Legislature. Ronald L Book would later gain firsthand executive branch experience serving as Special Counsel and head of Legislative Affairs for Governor Bob Graham’s administration, followed by a nearly 7 year tenure as Partner and Director of the Administrative and Governmental Law Department for the highly influential, Miami-based firm of Sparber, Shevin, Shapo, Heilbronner & Book, P.A. (1982-1987).
