Andres J Correa

Andres J. Correa is a founding partner in the law firm of Jaramillo Correa & Martinez where he focuses his practice in the areas of insurance litigation, personal injury, premises liability, products liability law, and wrongful death and motor vehicle accidents.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Correa was involved in national politics and travelled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Asia and Latin America on behalf of President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore having served them both during their White House years, on Mr. Gore’s Presidential campaign and as private citizens. Mr. Correa also served as a speech writer and media consultant for several high-net worth individuals and philanthropists. Mr. Correa is a member of the Board of Directors of the Colombian American Service Association (CASA), a Florida non-profit dedicated to developing the well being and protecting the rights of all immigrants and providing them access to legal representation. Mr. Correa has lectured on U.S. domestic politics in Europe as part of the U.S. State Department’s overseas speaker program.

Mr. Correa was born and raised in Miami, Florida and received his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from Florida International University. Mr. Correa is a proud Explorer and alumnus of Christopher Columbus High School in Miami. In Law School, Mr. Correa was on the Dean’s list, received the Best Student Awards in Advanced Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy and worked as a law clerk in the Office of the City Attorney, for the City of Miami, Florida.

Mr. Correa is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar. He is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Correa is fluent in Spanish.
