Ms Solis was referred by a high school friend; an attny in another field. With little to no past experiences needing representation for employment situation. I wasn’t sure if there even was a case. Maybe it was sheer luck, but Hazel was patient and understanding from the start, explaining my option...s and making sure I understood from all angles. Was always available or would return call or text promptly. Communicated realistic expectations of time and what was within parameters. I first spoke to Hazel back in July on an employment matter and engaged her services shortly after. Her communication lagged and every response and milestone were weeks apart. There were matters that could have been resolved immediately like requesting a document from me but it took her a month for i...t. I would follow up via email just to hear excuses of why she’s not responsive. I ended up terminating her as my attorney given the lack of communication and timing. If you want an attorney that’s on top of it and communicates well Hazel is not the attorney for you as she makes it clear she only responds during office hours. If you want somebody to lag and take forever to answer simple inquiries then reach out to her.
