To paint my experience more clearly, you must know that I am a single mother of two who is receiving absolutely zero financial assistance from my ex husband or any government agency. I first had a Domestic Violence case with my now, ex-husband before officially filing for divorce. Before hiring Mrs.A...lvarez, I hired a highly revered, highly expensive attorney from coral gables who did nothing but string along my case, subordinate my authority as a client, and manipulate me into thinking I should pay my (now) ex-husband alimony, his attorney's fees, and his credit card debt. He told me it was the smartest move to be able to settle the case. I felt like he was the best attorney for the opposing counsel's side. And yet, I remained his client because I thought he was the best money could buy. After feeling defeated and realizing that my then current attorney was leading me and my family down a terrible path.
