Let me start by saying that I have had my share of lawyer experiences. Enough to know that Mr. Muniz is truly brilliant, and a highly effective lawyer. He will not sugar coat his advise. In the courtroom he is even better than what you can imagine. He anticipated the majority of the land mines i...n my case and how we were going to overcome them. I was even more impressed with how he explained to me how each issue was was going to be dealt with at the trial and how the judge was going to rule! He shows you the reasoning behind every question that will be asked and makes you prepare for them. I was really impressed. Trial genius! Worth every penny.

Not a good person. The amount of lies that comes out of this man's mouth is unbelievable. His consultations are free which is great. So I thought. He does this to lure you in, and to find out how much money you have and to see how much he can get out of you. Then he proceeds to sell you the dream. He... takes your retainer and then good luck getting a hold of him. His fees are extremely low for someone that has been practicing law for over 20 years. I know why now. He overbills you for everything. When you take the over billing and numerous delays you will encounter with this clown. He actually comes out to over $500 an hour. He's ok in the courtroom. But what typically should take one day in the courtroom. He will take two to three days or even more depending on how long it takes the judge to stop him. He will drag it out as long as you have money to pay him. Expect to hear from Mr. Muniz, your money is almost gone. I will need another $3000 to $5000 to continue your case. He reminds me of Joe Pesci. Little, aggressive, chubby dude with a huge ego. Biggest napoleon complex I have ever seen on someone so small. This guy even has a samurai sword in his office. I guess it's suppose to intimidate you or something. He is decent in the courtroom. But he is not the most intelligent person despite how confident he comes off. He will win your case if you go up against a subpar attorney. He will not win against a good lawyer due to his lack of intelligence. If you have or do hire Mr. Pesci. Please document the hours and minutes. Watch out for delays. Get on him for dragging on the court proceedings. At the end. It adds up to thousands of dollars.

Years ago I interviewed a number of lawyers for a friend for a difficult family law case. All the ones I met were very nice but none were as confident, assertive, and knowledgeable as Carlos Muniz so I hired him and he won that case. Fast forward some years I needed a family law lawyer for myself & i...t was no question in my mind who I would hire. I presented Mr Muñiz with a difficult case against a well-known excellent attorney that my opponent paid top dollar for. It's been a long battle but I'm happy to say he prevailed once again. He was well prepared with all the facts & did an amazing job presenting them in the court room. He was assertive in my defense, as well as passionate about a job well done & justice being served which led to a judge ruling in my favor. Throughout this drawn out process Mr Muñiz was always available for me, his staff was always very helpful, and if he wasn't immediately available he always got back to me as soon as he could. I hear many people saying they wait around to hear back from their lawyers & have a hard time communicating with them but that's never been the case with Mr Muñiz and I value that very much. He was patient to answer my many questions every time I had them. I highly recommend him if you need a family law lawyer. No one wants to have to pay a lawyer but when u need a lawyer u want to get your money's worth & I certainly did. While no lawyer can guarantee u they will win a case, having seen before how he works, I was confident that if anyone could win my case it would be Mr Muñiz. Once again he did not disappoint.

He was very unprofessional. He missed most of the appointments that were scheduled with me. At this point I should have taken this as a sign and turned away but decided to give him another chance. When he rescheduled he made me wait for hours at his office to see him. He regards himself as a good law...yer but I assure you he is not, he was intimidated by the opposing side's attorney several times. I was never able to reach him and the case was mostly handled by his assistants, which he treats very bad, know close to nothing about law and are not very helpful. Did not address any of the concerns I had and gave me no assurances during my stressful court battle. He did not respond to any of the emails I sent him. I do not know how people can do business like this. I deeply regret hiring him to handle my case. Your time and money is better spent elsewhere.
