Biography
John Agnetti has practiced law in South Florida since 1983 and has been a partner at Hoffman, Larin & Agnetti since 1989. He handles personal injury, family law, and business litigation, and does most of the firm's trial work.
He grew up in South Florida, earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University, and received his law degree from California Western School of Law. Over four decades he has recovered settlements and verdicts in excess of a million dollars across a range of personal injury cases and has tried commercial disputes in both state and federal court. His clients include individuals and families along with local, national, and Latin American businesses.
Agnetti is often the attorney who takes cases other firms decline. In one Miami-Dade matter, a client was seriously injured at a city construction site, and several firms had passed on the case because of the number of defendants and the finger-pointing among them. He built a strategy that held each party accountable and settled the case for more than $1 million.
