Jennifer Erin Okcular

Jennifer E. Okcular, a shareholder in the law firm of Nelson & Nelson, P.A. in North Miami Beach, Florida, was admitted to the Florida Bar in April of 2005 and joined the firm as an associate in 2006. She practices primarily in the areas of tax, estate planning, asset protection planning and probate administration.

Jennifer was named as a Rising Star in the category of Estate Planning & Probate by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine in 2013, 2014 and 2015. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list of best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Jennifer graduated first in her class from Stetson University College of Law in 2004. In addition to her studies, Jennifer was an Articles and Symposia editor of the Stetson Law Review, a Justice on the Student Honor Court, a Dean’s Fellow, and a member of the Stetson Ambassadors. After graduating from Stetson, Jennifer attended the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program, where she graduated in the top ten in her class and worked as a Co-Managing Editor of the Florida Tax Review. Jennifer received her B.A. from the University of Florida in 2001.

Jennifer is a member of the Junior League of Miami, Inc., a women’s organization that promotes volunteerism. She is also a member of the University of Florida Alumni Association.
