Before I was a lawyer, I was a musician.

I spent years as a classically trained double bassist, performing with The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera, and the New World Symphony. I played on Grammy-nominated albums and contributed to an Emmy Award-winning production, sharing stages and studios with artists like Andrea Bocelli, Céline Dion, Gloria Estefan, Stevie Wonder, and Major Lazer.
That career taught me something that shapes how I practice law today: creative people pour everything into their work, and far too often, no one is protecting it.

I founded ESO Law Firm to close that gap. My practice is dedicated to entertainment and intellectual property law, focused entirely on transactional and advisory work. I help established businesses, artists, creators, and entrepreneurs protect what makes them original through federal trademark registration, copyright, contracts and licensing, and brand strategy.

One of the most important things I tell clients is this: registering an LLC with the state does not protect your brand. A Sunbiz filing protects your business entity, but it does not protect your name, your logo, or your slogan nationally. Only federal registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office does that. The difference between owning your brand and simply renting it is the difference between building something that lasts and leaving it exposed.

I earned my J.D. from St. Thomas University College of Law with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, and my LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law from the University of Miami School of Law. I built this firm on a simple mission: to protect creators from the legal gaps I experienced firsthand as a working musician.
