Biography
Yisel Villar is an associate and criminal defense lawyer at Jeffrey S. Weiner, P.A. Born and raised in Cuba, Yisel earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Havana School of Law. She received her (second) Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law.
Yisel focuses her practice on criminal defense representing clients in both state and Federal courts. She is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
She is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, Miami Chapter, a member of the Cuban American Bar Association and of the Hispanic National Bar Association.
