I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. My pro-nouns are she/her/hers. Since a young age, I was deeply committed to justice and advocacy. I enjoyed building community through my academic and athletic involvements throughout high school. Upon my graduation, I moved to Gainesville to begin my college career.
I attended the University of Florida where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science in May of 2019. While at UF (Go Gators!), I had the honor of serving as a Preview Staffer and a Florida Cicerone, where I welcomed thousands of students through orientation, tours, and athletic recruitment for the university. Following my experience in Gainesville, I returned to my hometown and obtained a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in May of 2022. While at UM Law, I served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Race and Social Justice Law Review; in this position, I published two issues for Volume 12 as well as hosted a symposium battling gender violence. I also held the distinguished positions of Founder and Vice President in the Disabled Law Students Association, elected committee member of the UM Law Honor Code, and social media chair for the Nationals Lawyer Guild.
Prior to joining Rubenstein Law, my legal experience included being a fellow and certified legal intern for the Children and Youth Law Clinic at the University of Miami for over a year. As a fellow, I managed complex litigation cases for foster children in South Florida. I had the opportunity to facilitate adoptions and reunifications of children with their families. Inspired by the children and their experiences, I authored a Note raising awareness for the hidden foster care system in the United States, which was selected for publication in Volume 12, Issue 1 in the Race and Social Justice Law Review. Additionally, I served as a judicial intern for the honorable Judge Watson in the summer of 2020 through the Judicial Internship Opportunity Program hosted by the American Bar Association.
