Jonathan Derek Franklin

Jonathan’s career and experience has allowed him to partner with our clients on high stakes litigation at the trial and appellate levels focusing on products liability, insurance coverage and bad faith, reinsurance, commercial matters, negligence, and mass tort. He is actively involved in counseling our clients and serves as a subject matter expert on several critical issues for our clients.

He also has served or serves as the national coordinating and trial counsel for a product manufacturer; Florida regional counsel for a friction product manufacturer in mass tort litigation; Florida regional counsel for a connector, tubing, and valve manufacturer; Florida regional counsel for national retail corporations on liability matters; Florida regional counsel for a freight forwarder and service company, specializing in the logistics and transportation of perishable products; Florida regional counsel for a trucking and transportation company; and as trial and appellate counsel to numerous insurers and their insureds in coverage, liability, fraud investigation, and fidelity litigation.

Jonathan was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995. He is Martindale Hubbell AV Rated™, is a member of the prestigious International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), and is an AM Best Recommended Insurance Attorney.
