Rebecca W. de la Zerda

Ms. de la Zerda is admitted to practice in Florida state court and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Ms. de la Zerda graduated in 2020 from the St. Thomas University College of Law, where she studied under a merit scholarship and earned a certificate in Intellectual Property law. As a student, she served as law clerk at both an immigration law firm and a first-party insurance law firm, and she interned for the Hon. Jose M. Rodriguez of the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. She was a member of St. Thomas’s Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and earned the CALI Book Award in Negotiations. Her previous law practice experience involved commercial civil litigation.

Previously a writer and editor for print and radio news outlets and in commercial work, Ms. de la Zerda also holds a Master’s degree in journalism from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Pennsylvania.
