Anwar Hadeed grew up surrounded by the beauty and culture of Antigua and Barbuda, a twin-island nation in the Caribbean. The son of Syrian parents who relocated to the islands in the 1980s, Anwar’s upbringing blended Caribbean warmth with Middle Eastern traditions. At 17, he moved to the United States to further his education, driven by a deep curiosity about people, cultures, and the forces that shape society.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Moravian University in Allentown, Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude with dual majors in Psychology and Sociology. Determined to fulfill his lifelong goal of becoming an attorney, Anwar relocated to Miami to study at the Florida International University (FIU) College of Law. While at FIU, he repeatedly earned Dean’s List honors and was actively involved in student organizations, including the Caribbean Student Bar Association, the Black Law Students Association, and the International Law Students Association.
During his second year of law school, Anwar secured a coveted clerkship at a respected probate, guardianship, and estate planning firm. His skill and dedication quickly made him indispensable, and upon passing the Florida Bar exam, he was offered an attorney position immediately. He has built a trusted reputation for guiding families through complex legal matters involving probate, guardianship, and estate planning with clarity, compassion, and skill.
Today, alongside managing his practice, Anwar also serves as a mentor and educator at FIU College of Law, where he shares his experience with the next generation of attorneys. Through teaching, hands-on training, and mentorship, he equips law students with the practical tools and professional mindset needed to thrive in the legal profession.
Outside the office and classroom, Anwar is committed to giving back to his community through volunteer work. He also enjoys staying active, traveling to new and familiar destinations, and taking his paddleboard out into the clear Caribbean waters.
