Jose Maria Herrera

My son got arrested and charged with more crimes than Charles Manson after an incident at a South Beach Club. A friend on the police force recommended Jose M. Herrera or “Pepe” which is how everyone seems to know him. My friend told me “ I faced this guy in a case, he was intense, no nonsense.... He added that if he or anyone in his family were in a bind he’d want “Pepe” on his side. As a concerned mother whose son was in jail with no bond, I called “Pepe” late in the evening. “Pepe” told me to relax, he would see me at “bond court” the next morning. As a professional myself, I can tell a lot about another professional by the way they carry themselves and the respect they receive from others. Observing the interaction with the Prosecutor and Judge, I saw that my friend was right. “Pepe” got my son released on bond, never gave up fighting the charges, and successfully showed the Prosecutors and the Judge that the “goons” the local club called security were the actual aggressors, were not credible and having a special relationship with the local police squad, fabricated charges against my son after beating him. The interesting part was "Pepe" passion and his ability to put me and my son at ease througout the process. I know that dealing with a desperate mother is trying, but "Pepe" took it in stride. As a mother whose son was given his future, I echo the recommendation of my friend, if me or any family member are in a bad situation and need a lawyer, I’d want “Pepe” on our side.
