Biography
Being a native of Miami, I have practiced law in the South Florida area for the past 35 years. Litigation is my passion and winning counts. My primary practice areas include sophisticated commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, restrictive covenant disputes, securities litigation and appeals. I have extensive jury trial experience and have successfully prosecuted multi-million dollar cases both within and outside the bankruptcy court arena.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from Emory University in 1977, and a Juris Doctor degree from Emory in 1980.
I was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1980 and also admitted to practice in the State of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. I am a member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida.
