Julio C. Barbosa

Julio began practicing law over 30 years ago in Brazil and has spent most of his career focused on helping clients in the areas of international taxation, real estate, and foreign entities wishing to conduct business in the United States. While still living in Brazil, Julio served as an Associate of the Special Counsel of the Presidency, and Special Advisor to the Minister in Chief of the Military Office of the Republic of Brazil. After that he with this family to the United States and Julio completed a JD in 1999 and an LLM in 2004 at the University of Miami School of Law.

In 2001 Julio authored the book “How to Export to the United States,” a guide through the complexities of doing business (mainly exporting) with the companies located in the United States. Since then he has been invited as a featured speaker in more than a dozen countries throughout the Americas to discuss international trade, international taxation, arbitration, establishing entities and doing business in the United States.
