Robert Boyers is the founder of Boyers Law Group, and represents clients in medical malpractice, products liability and catastrophic personal injury cases. Rob Boyers served as a past-President of the Miami-Dade Justice Association (formerly the "Dade County Trial Lawyers Association"), is a past Director of the Florida Justice Association (formerly the "Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers") and a past Executive Board Member of the Samantha Foundation (an organization devoted to advancing the cause of child safety). Mr. Boyers currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Dade County Bar Association and on the Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-Defamation League.
Following his graduation from the Emory University School of Law in 1990, Mr. Boyers began his legal career as a trial lawyer in New York City where he practiced law with a highly regarded personal injury law firm in Manhattan. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County and was appointed as Special Prosecutor to Kings County (Brooklyn) to investigate a high profile officer involved fatal shooting case.
Aside from litigating major personal injury cases, Mr. Boyers writes and lectures frequently on civil trial matters. He is admitted to the state bars of Florida, New York and Connecticut and to practice in the federal courts of Florida and New York.
