Alejandra M. Iglesia

Alejandra is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, but has lived in Miami since 2001. She took a respite from tropical Miami to earn her Bachelor’s Degree(s) in Linguistics and Political Science from Northwestern University in Chicago, and moved back to Miami to study law at St. Thomas University School of Law. She achieved her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas in May 2018 and became a member of the Florida Bar in September of the same year.

Alejandra began her legal career at Barakat Law as an intern in the Summer of 2012, then worked as a law clerk from 2013 until 2018, when she became an associate. Alejandra has handled all stages of litigation, arbitration, mediation, and trial. She is diligent, clever, and thorough, but one of her most remarkable attributes is her personal touch and the quality of her care for her clients.
