Robert Zarco

Robert Zarco is the Founder and Managing Partner of Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A., a nationally recognized Franchise Law, Business Trial Law, and Complex Commercial Litigation firm based in Miami, Florida. For nearly 40 years, he has represented franchisees, franchisee associations, dealers, distributors, entrepreneurs, investors, and business owners throughout the United States and internationally.

Widely known as “The Great Equalizers,” Robert and his team have built a reputation for leveling the playing field in complex David versus Goliath disputes involving some of the world’s largest franchisors, corporations, manufacturers, and other powerful stakeholders. The firm has represented franchisees and franchisee associations associated with more than 500 brands across over 40 states and 20 countries.

Robert is known for bringing a business-minded, entrepreneurial perspective to the practice of law. A graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Economics, he began his professional career as a financial analyst at General Motors while pursuing graduate business studies before ultimately earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Having started businesses and invested in real estate at a young age, he understands firsthand the risks, investments, and challenges business owners face when building and protecting what they have worked so hard to create.

He believes successful legal representation requires understanding both the law and the economics behind every business decision. That philosophy has helped him become a trusted advisor to business owners navigating high-stakes disputes, strategic negotiations, and complex business challenges.

Robert’s practice focuses on franchise law, complex commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, strategic negotiations, and sophisticated business disputes. He regularly represents clients in matters involving wrongful termination and non-renewal, encroachment, fraud and misrepresentation, franchise disclosure violations, advertising fund disputes, restrictive covenants, fiduciary duty claims, and other issues affecting franchise relationships and independent business owners.

Robert has received numerous national honors throughout his career, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Association of Franchisees & Dealers, Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Franchise Law, recognition by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Franchise Times’ Legal Eagles Hall of Fame, and fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America.
