Nicolas Abdel Yoda

Nicolas A. Yoda is an aggressive litigator in the Miami office of Derek Smith Law Group. He represents employees in workplace disputes involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and unpaid wages or overtime. Clients value his clear explanations, practical guidance, and steady communication from the first consultation through resolution.

Mr. Yoda previously practiced as a defense side lawyer which gives him incredible insight into how companies and defense teams evaluate cases, negotiate, and litigate. He uses that perspective to build strong employee cases, focus on what matters, and position claims for fair settlement, or, when necessary, litigation. Outside the office, Mr. Yoda volunteers with the Humane Society of Greater Miami, assisting with adoption events and fundraising. He spends his free time enjoying the outdoors, participating in motorsports, and rooting for the Florida Panthers.
