Michael Strauch

Michael Strauch is a shareholder at the law firm Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, P.A., with 375 lawyers in offices throughout Florida, as well as in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Hartford, CT.

Mr. Strauch is a member of the firm's National Trial Practice group. He handles an array of complex business litigation matters. A significant portion of Mr. Strauch’s practice is devoted to banking litigation and counseling clients in the financial services industry. As part of his banking litigation practice, Mr. Strauch has represented local, regional, national, and international banks in a variety of litigation matters, including commercial and residential foreclosures, consumer finance litigation, defense actions, servicer disputes, and judgment enforcement. Mr. Strauch has participated in trials at both the state and federal level.

Mr. Strauch is a member of The Florida Bar Code and Rules of Evidence Committee. He also serves on the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's Banking and Finance Committee, and is a director of the charitable tennis organization First Serve Miami. Mr. Strauch is a member of The Florida Bar, American Bar Association, and Dade County Bar Association and has served as a mentor on the Dade County Bar Association's Minority Bar Passage Program. Mr. Strauch has also been a member of The Florida Bar Business Law Section, Florida Association for Women Lawyers - Miami-Dade Chapter, and Cuban American Bar Association. Mr. Strauch actively volunteers as an attorney ad litem for children in Florida's foster care system. Mr. Strauch was elected a 2010 Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers.
